What is PRF Microneedling?

Combining two powerful treatments - Microneedling and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)- works with your skin's natural healing response to refresh and renew it.​

• Microneedling  uses a device with tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin.

• PRF is a concentrated portion of your own blood, rich in platelets, growth factors, and healing proteins. Unlike traditional PRP, PRF is spun at a slower speed without additives, resulting in a more natural, fibrin-based concentrate that releases growth factors gradually over time.

When paired together, PRF is applied topically (and can also be injected) during microneedling, allowing these growth factors to reach deeper layers of the skin.​

What is PRF, and how is it different from PRP?

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients do a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your provider will recommend a plan based on your goals.

What is the downtime?

Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for about 1 to 3 days. We will go over aftercare with you at your appointment.

Is PRF safe?

PRF is made from your own blood, drawn by a registered nurse, so the risk of an allergic reaction is very low. Your provider will review your health history before treatment.

Can PRF help with thinning hair?

PRF applied to the scalp may support thicker, healthier-looking hair. Results vary, and a series of treatments is usually recommended. A consultation is the best way to find out if you are a good candidate.

What is PRF Bio-Filler?

Your PRF is gently heated into a gel and placed in areas like the under-eyes, cheeks, temples or smile lines to add soft, natural-looking volume. Ask about it at your free consultation.
